A beautifully textured Chardonnay with a fine bouquet of white peach and hazel nuts. The approach is rich and round with an elegant core of ripe stone fruit and hints of citrus. The finish has persistant length and complexity from the extended aging in French barriques on full yeast lees. The perfect wine to enjoy with white meats and rich seafoods.

The bouquet is full of white peach and rockmelon, enhanced with sweetly spiced oak. A warm textural mouthfeel with flavours of caramelized stonefruits, vanilla and a touch of creamy richness from the extended yeast lees contact. Beautiful with salmon or big game fish. For something really different serve with venison.

Bushmere Estate 2009 Diavolo Rosso
Fortified Sweet Red
A blend of the two great Italian Reds – Sangiovese and Montepulciano. This rich deep ruby wine has aromas of blackcurrant and cinnamon, while the palate reflects the same complex compote of flavours, showing blackcurrant, blackberries and sweet spice. Fabulous served with chocolate truffle or with the bluest richest cheese you dare to load your arteries with. Serve at room temperature.

Bushmere Estate 2010 Rosa D'Estate (Rose of Summer)
We only make enough Rosé to get us through the summer months. This vibrantly pink blend of Merlot and Malbec has a delicious bouquet of strawberries, boysenberry and watermelon. Mouthfilling and smooth with a lovely juiciness, a touch of sweetness and a lingering balanced finish. The perfect summer lunch wine. Serve slightly chilled.

Bushmere Estate 2009 Merlot
A soft approachable Merlot showing all the virtues of a warm Gisborne climate. The nose displays damson plum and spice with hints of blackberry leading in to a soft round palate with gentle tannins. The wine finishes with lovely warmth and fruit sweetness. Growth and made in a style to be enjoyed on any night of the week with hearty winter fare or summer barbeques.

Bushmere Estate 2010 The Italians
This blend of two great Italian Reds, Sangiovese 71% and Montepulciano 29% is deliciously smooth with dark cherry, hints of vanilla and coffee beans. Excellent structure and fine acidity this wine makes the perfect accompaniment to Italian food. Aromas of chocolate, spice and dried cranberries on the nose make this wine immediately appealing.
